Bleaching Powder

Bleaching Powder is a white colored powder having calcium hydroxide, calcium hypochlorite and calcium chloride. It is widely used as a bleaching agent for bleaching clothes in the laundry. It is used to bleach cotton and linen in the textile domain. This strong oxidizing agent is utilized as an oxidizer in manufacturing and other sectors. In addition to this, it is also used as a disinfectant to disinfect water for making it potable.
